I have a Master's in Biological Science Education from Rutgers University (4.0 GPA). Before focusing on teaching, I studied Veterinary Medicine and have my Bachelor's in Animal Science also from Rutgers University.
Experience
I'm a licensed teacher (K-12 Bio), and have been teaching middle school science for 5 years. I can teach and tutoring all disciplines of K-8 sciences, as well as high school through college level Biology. As a classroom teacher, I have unique insight into what is expected of students and how it will be assessed by their teachers. I've taught courses at the high school and college level of Bio, Human Bio & the Environment, and Anatomy, and can very comfortably teach and tutor at that level. In addition to my tutoring & teaching skills in the sciences, I am a fluent Spanish speaker. I can tutor students for Spanish classes/tests, as well as high-school level Italian.
